As part of their science topic ‘Being Healthy', year three students from the British School of Kuwait (BSK) have been visiting Saveco. The students have been immersed in the topic since they came back to school.
Whilst on the trip the students got to prepare their own healthy pizza dough. After needing and rolling they then picked a selection of toppings to add, trying to include a variety of protein and vegetables. Students also went on a hunt around the shop identifying the different food groups (carbohydrates, protein, fruits and vegetables, dairy and fats and sugars).
BSK has always valued a hands-on approach and this was a fantastic way to reinforce a healthy lifestyle. Year three were a credit to the school in their behaviour and manner around Saveco.
