John graduated with an Honours degree in Applied Chemistry at De Montfort University and subsequently obtained a Science PGCE at the University of Leicester.
He has worked for an engineering company where he was involved in programming production line robots and also materials testing for the automotive industry. John taught in London for four years before moving to Saudi Arabia where he spent two years teaching in Riyadh. After leaving Saudi Arabia John moved to Kuwait to work at BSK. While at BSK John set-up and ran the school's virtual learning environment (VLE) and currently manages the secondary (Year 6 onwards) part of the VLE. Previously John held the position of Subject Coordinator of Computing and more recently has been the Student Performance Coordinator responsible for the reporting process for students in Year 6 to Year 13.
