Old Britannians

The British School of Kuwait (BSK) alumni association, known as the ‘Old Britannians’, is an excellent way for former students, as well as parents and staff, to stay connected from wherever they are in the world and to keep up to date on BSK development and alumni news.

Through the Old Britannians network former students, parents and colleagues can maintain their links with the school and remain a part of the BSK family long after they have left.

Alumni Visits To BSK

We value continued contact with BSK graduates and strive to accommodate visits by alumni to the BSK campus whenever possible. However, to ensure appropriate security and minimal disruption to staff and students, the following procedure should be followed.

A recent graduate who would like to visit the school to catch up with old school friends may only do so if they are no longer resident in Kuwait. The graduate should email the Phase or Department Coordinator (PC or DC) of the year group in which they have friends, so that a date and an arrival and departure time may be agreed.  This will almost always be during a breaktime. All requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the proposed visit in order to be considered. The PC or DC will then notify the Security Team and the affected break duty staff.

A less recent graduate who would like to visit to the school to see campus developments and to catch up with their ex-teachers should email the Head Teacher and agree a date and an arrival and departure time. The Head Teacher will then notify the relevant teachers and the Security Team.

On the day of your visit, please arrive on time. You should bring your civil ID or passport so that the front gate Security Team can give you a visitor's badge and allow you to enter the BSK campus.

It should be noted that it may not always be possible to accommodate visit requests due to operational reasons.
