Sophie studied at De Montfort University, from where she graduated with a degree in English Literature before completing a Secondary PGCE at the University of Bath.
After qualifying as teacher she moved to Kuwait, joining the English Team as a teacher. From 2012-2014 she held the role of Assistant Subject Component Coordinator of English, before leaving Kuwait for a year. On her return to Kuwait she resumed her role as an English teacher and now holds the role of Assistant Head Teacher (Pastoral) of the Middle Phase at BSK.
