Wow, what a term! It might be the start of our new academic year, but already it has been action-packed with so many successes that all students from Reception to Year 2 have achieved. It goes without saying that we are all so proud of how the students have settled on and how they have adapted to their new school year. A special thanks to all our parents for your support.
Among the usual curricular learning, each term as a school we focus on a school value. This term our school value has been ‘Resilience’. Our motto has been ‘Try, try, try again.’ All students across the school have been learning how they can be resilient as they start their new school year and learning the benefits of being resilient. Students in the Lower Phase have been learning in their assemblies and classrooms with their teachers how they can be resilient and we all have been celebrating their achievements in weekly assemblies.
All students have made great efforts to demonstrate and show resilience this term. Their class teacher selected students who had shown resilience in the term as our Values Ambassadors. The selected students were awarded our Values Ambassador Award certificate by Miss Jane and Miss Rachel to celebrate their efforts.
Congratulations to all students for their outstanding start to this term! We wish you all a restful half-term break and look forward to our next value - Respect.
