In Sixth Form at The British School of Kuwait, our students work towards their AS and A Levels. As they prepare for university – and start thinking about careers – they become specialists in their fields, typically studying four AS Level subjects in Year 12 and three (sometimes four) A Level subjects in Year 13. Your child can extend their education further by taking an additional AS Level subject in Year 13, should they wish.
Alongside a choice of between 16 and 18 AS and A Level options, we also offer the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Our students can work towards the EPQ in either Year 12 or Year 13.
Our goal is for every A Level student to secure a place at their first-choice university.
Our experienced Sixth Form assistant head teacher guides our young people through the university selection and application process, using their knowledge of different systems worldwide. They’ll also advise on additional qualifications or relevant experiences that will help your child to stand out from the crowd.
We host university visits throughout the year, too, including large-scale fairs that feature representatives from top UK, US, and/or Canadian institutions.
